About ProjectSTAR
ProjectSTAR is a joint venture product of WAMTechnology and PrimeLogic, both South African companies with extensive track records of professional software solutions.

Why ProjectSTAR?
ProjectSTAR was born from an internal requirement to combine timesheet tracking, support issue tracking, project task management and project expense tracking into a single product. While most project management software products offers some combination of these elements, a comprehensive and suitable product could not be sourced for all 4 elements and consequenty ProjectSTAR was developed as a project management tool for WAMTechnology's internal needs. It soon became so popular and powerful, that a commercial version is now available.

Founded in 1994, PrimeLogic delivers innovative solutions in the image processing and machine vision arena. Various turn-key solutions include automated machine vision quality control in the production of metal components (X-ray imaging), medical classification and outcome projection based on cell morphology analysis, motion detection systems in digital video, etc. PrimeLogic pioneered one of South Africa's very first digital video recording systems in the mid 1990's, and is more recently involved with call centre screen recording product developments.
